If you’ve ever wondered, what crystals are, the Universität Wien is hosting an evening of science with ECM. (European Crystallographic Meeting) No, you won’t sit there listening to some random guy talking about a rock for 3 hours. The presentations are meant to be short and entertaining, hence the name science slam! 

Recommended if you like: crystals, stones, long walks along the beach knowing why sand is sand, fun with science, pebble talks, cute science students, getting blown away with facts, arming yourself with good discussion points for awkward silences
