Sigur Rós is well-known for their etheral sounds, sporadic usage of Hopelandic (a made-up language), playing the guitar with a violin bow, and their short cameo in a Game of Thrones episode (the one in which Joffrey dies). On Saturday, the Icelandic band will play a show at the Gasometer (get your tickets here).
