What do Bruce Wayne, Daft Punk, and the people in THAT scene in Eyes Wide Shut all have in common? Aside from giving us an idea for an amazing new club night, it’s that they all like to go to work with a mask on. German pianist and composer Lambert also ranks among those who like to hide behind headgear, always performing with a (slightly terrifying-looking) Sardinian mask. But don’t be scared – his tunes are very mellow, tender compositions, the kind that might be used on the soundtrack of a quirky European film. In fact they have been, in 2015 comedy ‘Hedi Schneider Is Stuck’.
Recommended if you like: Classical music, people who tinkle the ivories with a mask on, being a culture vulture, lying on your back, watching the clouds, finding chilled things to do on a Sunday, dreamy music, getting to sit down when you go to a gig
