The ladies only book club is back at phil
SALON Sorority x Lucy Fricke
When: WED, June 27, 7pm–10pm
Where: Phil
Entry: Free, non-members welcome, girls* only!
This Wednesday, a Salon Sorority event will be happening at café Phil. In this literary salon – that was brought to phil live by the Vienna-based girl power network Sorority – the old tradition of a readers circle has been revived and what happens is the group discusses a book of their choice. The only prerequisite to this circle: the book needs to have a relevance to feminism. This week’s edition will be focused on the book “Töchter” by Lucy Fricke. Read the book, and join the discussion, it’ll be free.
Recommended if you like: networking, constructive feminism, sister love, book clubs, reading and being read to, discussion the written word, sharing interpretations, reading ‘til the early morn’, reading on the toilet, smoking a pipe, reading classic literature in an armchair under a lamp, getting all philosophical over a cup of coffee, female empowerment
