Iranian-born artist Nairy Baghramian, who’s living and working in Berlin, currently has an exhibition at the Secession that’s going from November till January. The main focus of her work lies on sculptures, which have their roots in the human body (conceptually speaking of course, she doesn’t use human components, so don’t worry) and are actually a sort of antithesis to the traditional notion of sculpting. By combining a mix of various materials, she creates unique intriguing forms that are most definitely eye-catching.
