Don’t assume that this event is not worth the schlepp just because it’s not in Vienna. The ‘Fest der Begegnung,’ happening in Lower Austria this Sunday, invites one and all to a market, picnic, great cultural program for both ‘grown ups’ and kids. Included in this there will be music, workshops, calligraphy, archery and insanely delicious food all in the name of the ‘Islam’ exhibition hosted by Jessas. That’s right, the party collective Jessas are behind this beautiful day, so get on your bike (or train, it really is a bit of a hike) and get out of town!
