Crème de la crème – French Vienna

Crème de la crème is one of the youngest additions to the Viennese pâtisserie landscape, but it seems like it is the place that Vienna’s been waiting for – no matter the time, this place is drawing people in like a lamp does with moths. The beautiful interior makes this place a welcome hangout if you want to escape the greyness of a day, but while you can spend a while admiring the furniture and well-fit decoration, the real stars here are the pastries: des tartes.

Crème de la crème tartes are the finest pieces of handicraft and will have you drool on the counter during the predicament that the choosing process poses. The colours and compositions seem like a painter had his fingers in their creation, and the presentation in the glass case is just the perfect emphasis – not too much, just enough to make it hard for you to choose. But we recommend trying them all anyway, since each of them provides for a taste adventure.
