March for our Lives – Vienna
When: SAT, March 24, 3pm
Where: it begins at Ballhausplatz
On Saturday, thousands of people will be marching in unity to call on changes to gun control laws in the USA and to voice their opposition to the NRA (the gun lobby in the US). While it may not effect us over here in Vienna, hundreds will be meeting in the city center to march in support. With so many shootings in schools over recent years, the voices of young people have been getting louder, calling for change. We’ve included this here for those Americans living in Vienna, and for those that would like to add their voice to the cause.
Recommended if you like: having heated political discussions, reading rather large books, making signs for protests, being American, being a part-time or fulltime activist
