Pelican Coffee is the newest addition to Vienna’s vibrant Specialty Coffee scene, and if you’re dancing as happily as we do every time one of these islands of happiness pop up in our beautiful city, you should definitely go check the Pelican out (if you’re just into good coffee and not that much into dancing, you should still check it out).
Vedran Sormaz, whom you might know from Süssmund Kaffeebar, and Adam Kovacs teamed up, and after a few months of work, opened their own little coffee shop, offering up not only great quality, direct trade specialty coffee beans (by Süssmund and guest roasters) to take home, and the usual coffee nerd equipment, but also a mean coffee machine where baristas make up delicious cups of Joe.
The shop in Vienna’s 9th district, right around the corner from Alser Straße, and very close to the Altes AKH University Campus, the cafe is spacious for a Specialty coffee café.
