Be at this last (as in the last one for the season) poetry slam at OBEN on top of the Hauptbibliothek (translation: main library) to enjoy an awesome view while watching talented (we hope) poetry slam-mers perform. You can get on the mic yourself if you’re keen. Just register early if you want to take the stage. You’ve seen Coyote Ugly, so you know if you don’t take your shot at that open mic, you’ll just end up working in a semi-strip bar for the rest of your life. So, don’t keep that poetry hidden away in your diary.
Recommended if you like: emoting in front of an audience, crying in public, word architects, wearing sandals, slams in all shapes and sizes, events with a view, letting words wash over you like a warm embrace, people who are smart enough to make poetry, believing words have power
