Where the Wild Things Are

Check out this roaring night of ’20s Bohemian fun & games

Where the Wild Things Are

When: THU, May 23, 9pm–11pm
Where: Mendez Vienna
Entry: Free! (like all the good things in life)

Behind a velvet curtain, in the back of a Vienna café, a world of 1920s Bohemian fun & mischief will come to life where you can hide from the world for a while… and go wild. 1920s Jazz Age and Big Band Swing music will play loud overhead and make standing still impossible. Dance will be contagious, Bohemian decadence will be let loose, and so will the desire to misbehave and mingle with strangers.

We’re not serious about much, but we’re dead serious about the ‘Wild’ part in this night’s name. Wear what you want, flirt without holding back, express yourself as you are and celebrate being young and life being grand. Classic cocktails – think Tom Collins, Martini, Side Car, Old Fashioned –will be shaken and served, all at prices that won’t have you shy to keep them flowing.

Where the Wild Things Are is a night about having a wonderful time, of being young and free, while outside the world is falling apart in the hands of pessimism and a bunch of old white guys.

Recommended if you like: wild nights, living on the unusual side of life (wherever that may be), nostalgia of a time you never lived, classic cocktails, dancing until your feet hurt and the music won’t let you stop
