This Summer, the Az W have been screening films about the role of architecture and urbanism in our lives. This Wednesday, they’ll show films relating to the theme ‘Repair’. Specifically, whether architecture has played a role in the issues of climate change. This, the fourth and final evening of the festival, sees a mix of long and short films. One of these is ‘Der Stoff aus dem die Träume sind’, which highlights five different types of self-organised housing in Austria, including eco-settlements, a terraced housing estate in Graz, and a ‘Car Co-operative’. As long as the place has a toilet, we’re in!
