American Folk rock band, The Lumineers, started out in 2005, and are from the same school of music as Mumford & Sons and Fleet Foxes. They’re one of the most popular artists from the Folk rock/Americana revival of the 2010s, and like to put on a highly energetic live show. Their hit singles include “Ho Hey”, “Stubborn Love”, “Ophelia” and “Cleopatra”, and sound like the kind of music you’d get on the soundtrack for an Indie film, perhaps one directed by Zach Braff. In fact they have had music on the soundtrack for The Hunger Games, so we were wrong. But you know what we mean.
Recommended if you like: Mumford & Sons, Fleet Foxes, Zach Braff films, Folk rock music, Americana, cinematic music videos, musicians who know their shit, bearded men, wearing t-shirts that you could use a sail if you had to
