Käthe Löffelmann: Where we come from

Bask in this illuminating new exhibition on the subject of ‘family’

Käthe Löffelmann: Where we come from

When: January 15–February 12
Where: Improper Walls
Entry: Free!

Multidisciplinary artist Katharina Löffelmann’s vice is being ‘addicted to making things look nice’, which, like Lord Henry in A Picture of Dorian Gray, we believe more artists should have as a mission statement. Many of her works are ‘LED Collages’: a combination of different materials superimposed on one another with lettering and shapes made out of luminescent wire. Her new exhibition tackles the question of why we function and communicate the way we do in a family context.

Recommended if you like: digital, analog, small or large-scale art, the art of James Turrell and Dan Flavin, collage, art exhibitions, having your paintings stuck on the fridge by mum & dad
