The many levels of inspiration Beethoven left on artists, like Gustav Klimt and Alfred Roller, can be seen at this exhibition housed in the Leopold Museum up until April 4.
Art inspires artists and vice versa, so it comes as no surprise that some of Klimt’s notable works were in honour of the honourable German composer. Until the spring of 2021, you can learn about the artist’s multi-faceted works and how they paved the way for the Viennese art scene’s turn of the century. The exhibit might even inspire you to pick up a brush & canvas and go crazy.
