There’s a rustic looking place in the 3rd district which used to serve as a home for Vienna’s trams. These days, the Wiener Linien have transformed it into a ‘transport museum,’ and this unique spot will be the site for a charming little Christmas market. There’s not so much to shop for here (besides Wiener Linien Merch’), however there is a beautiful atmosphere, Punsch and mulled wine, waffles, and some tasty Raclette bread being served up by the few stands dotted around the place. Recommended if you like: being full of Christmas cheer, Glühwein and Punsch, eating up a Raclette bread before the cheese hardens in the cold, licking your nose with your tongue, checking out unique locations, trams and the colour theme – red and white
