Chilled and darker beats clash @ the Arena
Ariel Pink, Jorge Elbrecht, Zinn I Arena Wien

Where: Arena Wien

It’s Lo-Fi Tuesday at the Arena: all the way from sunny L.A., Ariel Pink will be passing through Vienna on tour with his latest studio album, ‘Dedicated to Bobby Jameson‘. The record is a tribute to L.A. musician and conterculture figure Bobby Jameson, who was long presumed dead only to resurface 10 years ago. Pink has been called ‘the godfather of chillwave‘, and in his new album, delivers a mix of darker pop beats. Opening for Pink is Jorge Elbrecht, originally from Costa Rica but also making music in California and playing his new album, ‘Happiness‘. Closing the night is Zinn, a local Viennese group (though singing songs in English) with a strong female lead vocal, with somewhat melancholic and folk vibes.
