Look at the stars, look how they shine for you! Did you know that some ancient religions and civilisations truly believed that they shine for us? Or that they hold special meaning? Especially the ancient Inca people of Peru – they have a strong belief system when it comes to astronomy. If you’re interested in this kinda’ thing and want to find out more about it, be at Weltmuseum this week. Doris Vickers will hold a lecture about the core role of astronomy in Latin America’s ancient civilisations this Wednesday.
