BaldWiena’s music is described as ‘Wiener songs with a dash of Blues and Reggae: lyrics that screw into your ears and rhythm that gets into your blood’. Don’t worry if you have a sore head now you’ve read that: the band have assured us that their description is purely metaphorical. Guitarist & vocalist Heinz D. Heisl, former singer of the New Wave band Intimspray, grew up in Vienna and, despite having lived in many other places, could not resist a return to his roots, something that many can relate to.
