Brainstorms #11 – Language: Machines vs Biology

When: MON, July 29, 6:30pm–9:30pm
Where: Braintribe
Entry: 7€ (voucher for drinks included!)

The ‘Brainstorm’ event series brings us a fascinating and up to date discussion topic: this time it’s about language! On a Monday evening, you can come to Braintribe to learn more about brain research on how language evolved and the biology of learning and using a language versus communication with computers using human language. There’ll be talks on the topi with the linguist Elisabeth Dokalik-Jonak, the computer scientist Tristan Miller and the co-founder of the app KOBI, Ursula Lavrenčič. And there will also be time for drinks and networking!
