Vegans, there’s no need to hide behind your sack of quinoa! Carnivore Club are actually a Neo-psychedelic Indie Rock duo from Berlin. The two share a love of idiosyncratic Pop songs and experimental sound structures which may sound like difficult listening, but actually their lush melodic tunes sound like the Beach Boys took acid (well, they almost certainly did, but you know what we mean). Support comes from fuzz-rockers Powerhouse.
Recommended if you like: the Beach Boys, experimental music, lush melodies, gritty guitar gestures, minimalist synths and electronic percussion, with a penchant for noisy textures, musicians that know their shit, bearded men, wearing t-shirts that you could use a sail if you had to
