A weird and wonderful production on stage
Carol Reed
When: SUN, October 29, 7pm–8:30pm
Where: Burgtheater
Entry: 3.50/7€ (up in the rafters), 43–59€ (for a seat–available here)
A quick glance at the trailer of this performance, makes it look like it’s about a couple of people who went to a posh Viennese ball and then took some acid. However, in reality, this Sunday’s production, although borrows heavily from Third Man Director Carol Reed, is in actual fact only really about the problems faced by the four people on stage. Four actors have lost the stage, in a minimalist setting in which their personalities and charm fill the void of set design. We think, it’s hard to get the jist of the far out event description, far too conceptual for our simple minds. But it’s supposed to be great!
