All of us, of course, know that back in 1966, Bob Dylan switched from acoustic to electric mid-concert, causing quite a stir among folk purists and changing rock ‘n’ roll forever. Just kidding, literally only music historians and die-hard fans know this fact. Well, Cat Power (an American singer-songwriter better known by her stage alias than by her birth name, Charlyn Marie Marshall) is recreating that legendary night with her own twist. She’s taking each song from that iconic set and bringing it to life with her unique style.
