With a free day from the World Cup, Der Garten is reverting to the traditional outdoor cinema vibes. With the film yet to be announced, keep an eye on the Facebook page, or if you are more of a gambler, don’t look and just turn up. Seating is on a first come first served basis, but with food and drinks on offer from 12pm, you could easily make an early evening of it and head down there a few hours before the 8:30 kick off for some drinks and dinner.

Recommended if you like: surprise cinema, outdoor cinema, dragging your hangover self out of bed on a Sunday, cinema under the stars, getting bitten to shreds by mosquitos attracted to the giant light, putting a camel pack of wine in your boxers to make it look like you are a world champion twerker…
