Digital Emotions I Robert Trappl & Adam Miklosi / AIL-Talks
When: TUE, March 6, 7pm–9pm
Where: AIL – Angewandte Innovation Lab
Entry: free!
This is a talk about the future. Developments are being made in Artificial Intelligence and robotics ability to experience emotional behaviour, and also, what they look like is being worked on (and we’ve seen these aspects in sci-fi movies). In this talk series at the AIL, Digital Emotions, how these issues could be, and are being, resolved will be addressed by international experts in AI, robotics, and biology. In this Tuesday’s edition, Robert Trappl and Adam Miklosi will be answering questions such as why humans have emotions, how robots could recognize them in the future, and what they could learn from dogs (A-Whaaaat?). If you’re interested in the future of robotics, you should be at this special event this Tuesday – it’ll be free!
Recommended if you like: I, Robot, living on the unusual side of life (wherever that may be), thinking about futuristic things, dreaming of owning a robot name Jeeves, having someone in the family know what to do when the robots attack, getting freaked out, the Matrix
