Those who weren’t born early enough for the 1980s are having another run at it, what with Stranger Things, Klassik Fanta in Interspa, and having to pay cash in restaurants. What with their swooping synths, low-voiced androgynous singer, and giant sunglasses, Drab Majesty can be added to this list. They sound so authentically 80s that we had to triple-check their Wikipedia page to check Talk Talk, The The, and The Psychedelic Furs hadn’t formed a supergroup. But no, artist Deb Demure (Andrew Clinco) started the band in 2011, initially playing all instruments himself,  but now with Mona D on keyboards. If you like Shoegaze, Post-Punk Synth music, you’ll love this.
