The story of a dysfunctional family on stage – sounds about right for Christmas time
Elektra – was ist das für 1 Morgen? von Jacob Suske & Ann Cotten
When: SUN, December 31, 7pm–8:30pm Where: Schauspielhaus Entry: 14–28€ (available here) In this electronic chamber opera (what ever the hell that is), Ann Cotten and Jacob Suske investigate the dysfunctional family ties of Elecktra Ä(yes, the Greek God). This Sunday is the premiere, and while Elecktra has featured in many things, she is most famous for her role as the linker in the murderous tale of Agamemnon’s return to his homeland, as depicted in this production. Recommended if you like: theatre productions, Charles Dickens, supporting and checking out small theatre companies, a good bit of Greek Tragedy to bring in the New Year, rounding off a weird year with some cold bloodied murder, electronic chamber operas, watching stories about families more dysfunctional than yours [totop][tocat]
