The mumok is showcasing Elisabeth Wild’s varied body of work, including some of her earlier, less well-known pieces, in its first thorough retrospective. Displacement and national identity have moulded Wild’s life, and her artistic endeavours include collage, painting, sculpture, and textile design.
The Mumok exhibition will demonstrate the artist’s development and draw attention to the connections between her early and later works. A voyage through the history of 20th and 21st-century art is encouraged by the show.
