One of the finest musicians to come out of Africa, and one of the monster contributors to the Afro beat sound, Fela Kuti, will be celebrated this Wednesday night in the dark halls of the fluc. His sound fused Yoruba music, jazz, funk and chanted vocals, with percussion and vocal styles to create one very special sound. If you don’t know who he is, add him to your spotify playlist, and play him in the lead up all week to this party. DJs will be bringing him back to life into the earlier hours of the next day.
