This event is so freaking empowering for women it’s hard to know where to start. Every second Friday of the month is FemFriday at the Weltmuseum and this will be a special one. This event’s guests are Muneera Rashida and Sukina Abdul Noor, the leading voices behind Poetic Pilgrimage – a hip-hop group tackling topics such as immigration and Islam with their lyrics. Both women are of Jamaican descent and grew up in the UK. Before their concert, they will hold an open talk and a screening of the documentary, Hip Hop Hijabis. Talk about girl power!
