Hagenbund – from moderate to radical Modernism

The artists’ association Hagenbund was founded in 1900 in response to the conservatism of the Künstlerhaus and by the late 1920s the association was known for their revolutionary artists. So if you want to know what the people of the 1920s considered modern, contemporary and refreshing (other than, you know, opium…) then make sure to check out this exhibition.
