Gugumuck-Hof, the home of Gugumuck’s Wiener Schnecken – a Viennese snail farm and restaurant – is having a festival in the name the culinary treat – snails – this Saturday. Yes, it’s a thing outside of France. Take an excursion to the 10th district to try some tasty snail creations and other snacks, as well as a selection of wines. There will also be lectures about how to use snails in your own garden and about the new trends in urban food and nutrition.
Plus: There will be a guided tour through the snail farm (3pm), live music (4pm) and Catalan snail grilling (6pm)!
Recommended if you like: eating snails, watching snails eat salad really really slowly, having great food and wine while enjoying pieces of urban nature, comfy get togethers, special festivals, eating all day long, weird science, thinking about what we’ll eat in the future
