Hollywood on Air – Alfred Hitchcock: Der Mieter

This is a rather meta performance: the Wiener Konzerthaus will present a live radio play performance, based on Alfred Hitchcock’s silent film, ‘The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog’, which was based on Marie Belloc Lowndes novel, ‘The Lodger’. This itself was based on the Jack the Ripper murders. Confused? Yes, us too, but we’re consider basing a concept album on all of this. If you like visions of foggy London, film noir and generally spooky old things, this should be a great night out for your earholes.

And will Hitchcock himself be there doing a cameo? (Spoiler alert: don’t get your hopes up)
