Short film festival dotdotdot are in a celebratory mood. Not only have they been going for 10 years, but it’s also 150 years since Japan and Austria became friends diplomatically. So they’re joining forces with Japannual, the Japanese Film Festival in Vienna, in showing a series of short films in the open air. These include wild and wonderful subjects such as taking a job as a plush mascot, a kid discovering his mother has turned into a cat, and the grandmothers of a pop group who hunt for discount stamps in Osaka. We’re not sure if we can resist!
