Sometimes great music requires a a room full of people playing different instruments. And sometimes all it needs is a guy (or gal) with a lone guitar. José González is one such person who can play loud epic songs one minute, then delicate and beautiful ones the next – all with his trusty six-stringed piece of wood. You may know his cover of The Knife’s ‘Heartbeats’ (used in an advert for a certain TV manufacturer and featuring 250,000 bouncy balls on a San Francisco street), or from soundtracks to shows such as Scrubs, House and Friday Night Lights. This is certain to be a magical evening.
