The movie, JOY, tells the story of a young Nigerian woman living in Vienna who is trapped in the vicious circle of trafficking and sexual exploitation. The film addresses a system of exploitation and complex power relations and gives an insight into the lives of women trapped in such situations. You can catch the movie at Votivkino this Friday, and there’ll be a panel discussion very interesting people (check who’s invited on their website).
