People either love it or hate it, but the concrete monsters of the city leave nobody uneffected. It is called Brutalist architecture, and there’s currently a global online initiative that is seeing a database compiled listing the 1000+ buildings of this type. At the current ‘SOS Brutalismus’ exhibition happening at Az W, you’ll get to see some examples of outstanding Austrian concrete buildings and also get to take a look at the fascinating qualities of Brutalist architecture. This Wednesday, there will be a guided tour.
