Experience a day of film, art and culture from Japan (without the expensive flight)
MAK DAY 2019 goes Japan
When: SAT, October 26, 10am–6pm
Where: MAK – Museum of Applied Arts
Entry: 5€ on the door
This year, museum and cultural hub, MAK, is using its MAK DAY 2019 to celebrate all things Japanese. As well as providing guided tours of their newly opened KUNIYOSHI + and UKIYOENOW exhibitions, the day’s programming also includes a Ukiyo-e woodblock printing demonstration, screenings of Anime films, and ghost and horror stories galore. There’s also an opportunity to purchase Kuniyoshi artworks on demand, for that special something to take home.
Recommended if you like: Japanese culture, the Land of the Rising Sun, learning about other cultures, being a culture vulture, strolling through museums with a guide, thinking outside the box, educating yourself while having fun
