Like most things from the olden days (grandfather clocks, gramophones, mirrors, glasses of water), that small black rectangle in your pocket can now be used as a valid replacement for a film studio and edit suite. If you’ve fancied yourself as a video journalist, but don’t want a man named Steve following you around with a huge video camera and one of those hamsters-on-a-stick, this could be just the course for you. You’ll learn about the basics of video production, which apps to use, and the art of storytelling.
Recommended if you like: feeling like you’re from the future, reporting from major world events using only the contents of your purse/fanny pack, video editing on the go, having more apps than your friends, using your smartphone for anything other than phonecalls
