This festival is a family fun event during the day, which turns into a good ol’ fashioned Austrian party at night. Neustift am Walde, an area of Vienna’s 19th district, is quite famous for its annual ‘Kirtag’
The Neustifter Kirtag is a wine fair that sees lots of people dress up in Lederhosen and Dirndl and enjoy those Austrian festival vibes. This month, it will be back with four days of some heavy wine drinking and culinary feasting. As well as the traditional procession, some neat togetherness, the chance to buy wine stock for the next 500 years, and one of the best views of the city.
