At Theater Drachengasse, the streets of early 1960 America will be brought to you through Nina Simone’s eyes and musicalised by a theatre production of her hit song, ‘Four Women’. The killing of 4 girls that took place in Birmingham, Alabama led Ms. Simone to write a song about the tragic act of racism. Many years later, the playwright, Christina Ham, took the song from the recording studio to the theater stage.
