Calling all MAMILS (middle aged man in lycra)! Or anyone that likes to ride a bike and go as fast as possible. This Saturday, you have the opportunity to mimic your cycling idols, be it Froome, Cavendish or Wiggo (there is unfortunately no prize for best sideburns) on the riding track at the Nordbahnhalle. While there is no proper Velodrome at the Nordbahnhalle, there is the space to race around on your bike and try and record a fastest time without getting in trouble with the po po.

Plus: it is a competition, so there’ll be an award ceremony at the end! And there will be, of course, an after party with, what we assume, will be full of people sporting a lot of lycra.

Recommended if you like: biking no matter the weather, watching jackass the movie, showing off your sporty body in lycra, doing tricks on your bike, not caring about falling off your bike and ripping your knee open, underground rebel bike clubs
