In this retrospective, ‘Ydessa Hendeles. Death to Pigs’, you’ll get a great overview of the work by the Canadian artist, Ydessa Hendeles. The concept and idea of “Heimat” in both the historical sense and in today’s globalised world is the focus. Also, how it is influenced by mobility and involuntary migration is what lies at the heart of her work. Tuesday marks the opening day of the exhibition, where you’ll get a chance to meet the artist herself.
