Marching in ghoulish fashion at the beginning of December are the Perchten. They wear hand-carved scary masks, shaggy fur, and heavy bells to scare away winter.
These creatures are usually a pretty frightful sight, but this Sunday, you can brave a ‘family-friendly’ Perchten parade at Prater.
