During the month of October, you have the chance to check out a pop–up gallery in the Leerstand Gallery, and it’s all about the German word ‘Opfer’. Since the pandemic hit, it seems as if the word ‘Opfer’ is in every article of every Austrian newspaper (making it a close second behind the ugliest word of the year ‘Corona’). A number of artists have come together at Leerstand Gallery to display their understanding of this word, with numerous meanings.
