Salon Sorority x Americanah – Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche

When: MON, June 24, 7pm–9pm
Where: Phil
Entry: Free, non-members welcome, girls* only!

This Monday, a Salon Sorority event will be happening at café Phil. In this literary salon – that was brought to phil live by the Vienna-based girl power network Sorority – the old tradition of a readers circle has been revived and what happens is the group discusses a book of their choice. The only prerequisite to this circle: the book needs to have a relevance to feminism. This week’s edition will be focused on the book “Americanah” by Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche. Read the book, and join the discussion, it’ll be free.

Recommended if you like: networking, constructive feminism, sister love, book clubs, reading and being read to, discussion the written word, sharing interpretations, reading ‘til the early morn’, reading on the toilet, smoking a pipe, reading classic literature in an armchair under a lamp, getting all philosophical over a cup of coffee, female empowerment
