British rock legends will blast your ears off at this outdoor gig

British band, Skunk Anansie, smashed into the Rock/Metal scene when their album ‘Paranoid and Sunburnt’ was released in 1995. They recently made headlines after Stormzy, whose set was the highlight at Glastonbury, tweeted that he was the first black British artist to headline it. Skunk Anansie’s singer, Skin, politely reminded him that it was she, in fact, who had done so 20 years earlier. Despite some time having passed since then, we think they sound even tougher and more raw in 2019. Although the gig has sold out, we think it’s worth checking out the Facebook event for last minute resells, or trying to get one on the door.
Recommended if you like: singing as loud as you can through a megaphone from a rooftop, shaving your hair off (head and all the rest), outdoor gigs, big speakers and big sound, heavy guitar riffs, hard and heavy Rock, beer and cigarettes
