For the 11th time, BirdLife Österreich are holding their nationwide call “Hour of the Winter Birds”. Everybody can participate in this “Citizen Science” campaign. Get your binoculars out and look for sparrows, great tits (ooh err!) and blackbirds as well as any winter guests who have moved to Central Europe from the colder north and east. And there are excellent prizes you can win, including feed columns, feed lamps and even Swarovski Optik binoculars.
