When they give us a day off, we never ask why! But, for those of you who care to know, this Wednesday is Austria’s national Day of Work. In other words: a day when you don’t have to work. A little confusing, we know. But, the part you really need to remember is that you don’t have to go to work! What will you do instead, you ask? Why not swing by the City Hall where there will be music, food, and (hopefully) sunshine at this festival celebrating the day of work (which is a day when you don’t have to work).
