In her latest film Weiyena, Vienna-born director Weina Zhao explored her own family history, which traces back all the way to China. In a lecture which she’ll be giving on Tuesday, she will talk about how this film came together as well as topics like reworking the past and the search for identity from a post-migrant perspective. Be sure to register for it via mail.
Keep in mind that you need to pay the entry fee for the museum as well if you wanna take part in this. So you could actually go and check out some of the cool stuff exhibited at the Weltmuseum before the lecture.
